Kansas City, Mo. -- Fifth seed Central Missouri held #4 Missouri Southern to just .333 shooting from the field as won their quarterfinal match-up in the MIAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

For the Jennies Revonnia Howard led the way coming one short of a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. Shelby Winkelmann finished with 14 points and and Tayler Welks finished with 12 points and Justin Prairie Chief had a team high three assists.

For the Lions Sharese Jones had a double-double scoring 14 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Jordan Dinyer had 10 points and also added six rebounds on the game as did Jenson Maydew.

The Jennies will face #1 Fort Hays State at 6 p.m. on March 7 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
