Kansas City, Mo. -- Third seed Pittsburg State got 38 points from their bench as they defeated #6 Central Oklahoma 78-71 in the quarterfinal round of the MIAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

The Gorillas were led by Lizzy Jeronimus who scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds. Mikaela Burgess finished with 17 points and Antqunita Reed added 10 points in the game.

For the Bronchos Kylie Mayes led the way scoring a game high 22 points while pulling down six rebounds. Olivia Mason finished with 12 points and seven boards while Hayley Bryan also added 12 points and Jordan Ward added seven assist.

Pittsburg State will face #2 Emporia State at 8:15 p.m. on March 7 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
