Kansas City, Mo. – The first round of the MIAA Tournament is set to begin with four first round games from campus sites on Nov. 4.
 
#8 Washburn at #1 Central Missouri
Top seeded Central Missouri will open the MIAA Tournament at home when they face eighth seeded Washburn.
 
The Jennies are led by Julie Ireland who has 25 points on the season scoring 12 goals and dishing out one assist. Defender Abby Rhodes leads the team in assists with five on the season while Hannah Pyle, Courtney Killian and Jada Scott each have four assists. They are led in goal by Ana Dilkes who has a 0.28 goals against average with a league best 10 shutouts.
 
For the Ichabods Paige Swanson is the leader on offensve with 10 points scoring four goals and dishing out two assists. Sara Specht leads the team with three on the year while Emily Stauffer has added three goals scored. In goal Kaitlin Minnich has played ever minute with a 1.04 goals against average with five shutouts.
 
The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff from Warrensburg, Mo.
 
#7 Nebraska-Kearney at #2 Central Oklahoma
Second seeded Central Oklahoma will open the MIAA Tournamnet at home against seventh seeded Nebraska-Kearney.
 
The Bronchos are led by Katie Killion who has 21 points on the year scoring eight goals and dishing out five assists. Kentia Kokis has 15 points on the year with seven goals and one assist. In goal Elle Stover is 7-4-2 with a 1.46 goals against average while Lexie Bates has two shutouts with a  1.08 goals against average.
 
The Lopers enter the week led by Montanna Hosterman who has a team best four goals and three assists good for 11 points. Both Reina Horikawa and Evie Sintek has three goals on the year. In goal Ali Hirschman has a 1.66 goals against average with 85 saves on the year.
 
The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff from Edmond, Okla.
 
#6 Missouri Western at #3 Northeastern State
Third seeded Northeastern State will being the MIAA Tournament at home against sixth seed Missouri Western.
 
The RiverHawks are led by Anastasia Robinson who has a team best 33 points scoring 12 goals and dishing out nine assists. Jennifer Cudjoe has eight goals and seven assists while Julia Mathis has six goals and a team best nine assists. In goal Jordan Woodruff has a 0.84 goals against average with six shutouts on the year.
 
The Griffons enter the week led by Bridget Blessie who has scored a team high five goals. Layne Shephard has one goal and a team high three assists and Sydney Cluck has three goals and two assists on the year. In goal Sarah Lyle has a 0.75 goals against average with four shutouts.
 
The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff from Tahlequah, Okla.
 
#5 Southwest Baptist at #4 Fort Hays State
Fourth seeded Fort Hays State will play host to fifth seeded Southwest Baptist as they open the MIAA Tournament.
 
The Tigers are led by Cassi Moosburger who has 12 points with four goals and four assists on the season. Kelsey Steffens has nine points scoring three goals and dishing out three assists. Gabrielle Makatura has two goals and a team high four assists. Between the pipes Abbie Flax has a 0.31 goals against average with four shutouts and a 4-1-1 record in six starts.
 
For the Bearcats Karla Jamison has 30 points scoring 13 goals and dishing out four assists. Caroline Karlsson has five goals and a team best eight assists while Elin Hammar has four goals and three assists. In goal Cheyenne Forshey has a 1.68 goals against average with two shutouts and a 7-2-1 record on the year.
 
The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. kick from Hays, Kan.
