Edmond, Okla. – Top seeded Central Oklahoma held fourth seed Washburn to just .085 hitting as they earned a 25-23, 22-25, 25-16 and 25-22 victory to move on to the MIAA Volleyball Tournament Championship.
 
For the Bronchos Barbara Jackson had a double-double with 18 kills and 13 digs on the night. Taylor Bevis was also in double figures finishing with 13 kills. Whitney Gifford led the way with 38 digs while Katy Davis dished out 41 assists.
 
For the Ichabods Sarah Vicory hit .440 with 11 kills while Natalie Bates dished out 15 assists.
 
UCO will now face the winner of the second semifinal, between Central Missouri and Nebraska-Kearney, at 3 p.m. on Nov. 21 from Edmond, Okla.
