Kansas City, Mo. -- With just four league series remaining for many of the teams in the league the MIAA baseball race is heating up.

#26 Central Missouri opens a homestand

#26 Central Missouri is scheduled to host Lindenwood this weekend as part of a five game homestand. At the plate Tony Sandifer is hitting .388 with 28 runs driven in and Jake Alexander is hitting .388 with 22 runs scored. On the mound Jake Heissler is 4-1 with a 2.08 earned run average and Ricky Rivera is 5-0 with a 3.10 ERA.
Central Oklahoma stays at home

Central Oklahoma is scheduled to open a homestand against Fort Hays State. At the plate MIAA/AstroTurf Hitter of the Week Matt Johnson is hitting .367 with 10 home runs and 33 runs batted in. Fort Hays State heads for Oklahoma
