Kansas City, Mo. – Fifth seeded Fort Hays State shot .421 from the three-point line as they upset fourth seeded Missouri Southern 78-57 in the MIAA Tournament quarterfinal. FHSU hit eight three pointers and shot .436 from the field overall as they advance to the semi finals.

For the Tigers Beth Bohuslavsky led the way scoring 15 points while Tera Ingalsbe added 14 points. Kate Lehman has 13 points and Chelsea Mason added 11 points while on the glass Katelyn Edwards had 10 rebounds. For the Lions Dominique Mosley led the way with 13 points and Sharese Jones pulled down eight rebounds. Alexis Fitzpatrick had 11 points and Nicole Hartzog finished with 11 points on the afternoon.

Fort Hays State advances to face top seed Central Missouri at 12:00 p.m. at March 8 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
