Central Missouri wins Texarkana, UCO falls in Mineral Water Bowl

Kansas City, Mo. – The MIAA split on bowl week as Central Missouri won the Texarkana Bowl and Central Oklahoma fell in the Mineral Water Bowl.
 
Central Missouri 48, Southeastern Oklahoma State 21
Central Missouri racked up 625 yards of total offense as they defeated Southeastern Oklahoma State of the Great American Conference in the Texarkana Bowl. The UCM defense forced two turnovers as they finish the season with an 8-4 overall record.
 
Hayden Hawk led the way for the Mules as he was 21 of 25 through the air for 280 yards and four touchdowns hitting four different receivers for a score. On the ground LaVance Taylor carried the ball 27 times for 264 yards and one touchdown as Sean Gorman also scored on the ground. On defense Alex Perlin led the way with 12 total stops and Kenny Mings and J.R. Alexander each picked off a pass.

 
Sioux Falls 42, Central Oklahoma 10
Central Oklahoma could not overcome three turnovers as they fell to Sioux Falls of the Northern Sun Conference in the Mineral Water Bowl. UCO did rack up 419 yards of total offense as they finish the season with an 8-4 record.
 
For the Bronchos Chas Stallard was 19 of 37 through the air for 231 yards as he also added 85 yards on the ground. Greg Johnson carried the ball four times for 55 yards and scored the lone touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball Matt Pruitt led the way with nine tackles and Levonte Douglas picked off a pass.
