Olathe, Kan. – Lindenwood kept a clean sheet against Fort Hays State to earn a slot in the championship game of the MIAA Men’s Soccer Tournament.
 
Alfredo Paez scored a goal in the 23rd minute taking a header off a pass from Steven Hutchison to give his team the early 1-0 lead. Things would stay quiet until the 60th minute when Stefan Andric picked up an Alfredo Paez rebound to make it a 2-0 advantage.
 
In goal Andrew Hamerlinck stopped all five shots on frame by the Tigers to earn the shutout.
 
Lindenwood will face off with the winner of top seeded Northeastern State and fourth seed Upper Iowa at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 from the College Boulevard Activities Complex in Olathe, Kan.
