Kansas City, Mo. – Top seeded Nebraska-Kearney will face third seed Central Missouri in the MIAA Volleyball Tournament Championship.

The two teams will face off for just the second time this season, a week and a day after the first meeting. Nebraska-Kearney dominated at the net hitting .293 to UCM’s .170 in the 3-0 victory.

Ariel Krolikowski led the way for the Lopers with 19 kills, eight digs and one block. Jenna Rouzee added 44 assists and five digs. MJ Massanet had 19 digs and Liz McGowan had a match high 34 digs on the match.

For the Jennies Carly Sojka had nine kills and 19 digs to lead the way. Julia Bates had 31 assists and eight digs. Mikalee Monachina had 12 digs, Sara Rooney had 12 digs and Annie Reilly added 10 digs.

Overall on the season UNK is led by Ariel Krolikowski who is averaging 3.60 kills per set. Katie Sokolowski is hitting .379 and averaging 3.15 kills per set. Jenna Rouzee is leading the MIAA averaging 11.07 assists per set. Liz McGowan is leading the team averaging 5.01 digs per set.

Overall on the year for UCM is led by Bradye Peniston who is hitting .323 and averaging 3.25 kills per set. Carly Sojka is averaging 3.01 kills and 3.47 digs per set. Julia Bates is second in the league averaging 10.64 assists per set and Annie Reilly is averaging 4.96 digs per set.

The two teams will face off from the Health and Sports Center on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. from Kearney, Neb.
