Kansas City, Mo. – Sixth seeded Northwest Missouri pushed it to four sets, but third seeded Central Missouri advanced in the MIAA Volleyball Tournament with a 3-1 win.

For the Jennies Carly Sojka led the way with a double-double racking up 18 kils and 10 digs. Bradye Peniston had 13 kills and Hillary McCormick had 10 kills and both hit .333 for the match. Julia Bates had 44 assists and Annie Reilly added 28 digs.

For the Bearcats Abby Graves had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs. Dallas Gardner led the team with 28 assists and Tori Beckman had 24 digs.

The Jennies will face the winner of Washburn-Fort Hays State at 5 p.m. on Nov. 16 from Kearney, Neb.
