Kansas City, Mo. – Northeastern State scored in the second half  to advance to the MIAA Championship with a 2-0 win over Truman.

Northeastern State scored in the 64th minute as Jordan Schmoker found the back off a net off a Juan Peralta pass. Jordan Ladbrooke made two saves to keep the sheet clean for the RiverHawks. The RiverHawks got a second goal in the in the 87th minute as Juan Peralta scored an unassisted tally.

Northeastern State will now await the winner of the Lindenwood-Fort Hays State game at 11 a.m. on Nov. 3 from the Olathe District Activities Center.
